Your entry here is just a cover-all statement inviting people to inquire about trading in general. In other words, this list encourages "networking" to make contacts for the future.

An "independent" (non-exclusive) exchange and rental company which has been servicing timeshare owners since 1979. It was founded by the President of Tricom Management, Inc., with the purpose of providing exchange services to those owners who were either frustrated by or had since dropped their membership with the Exchange Company affiliated with the resort where they bought their first timeshare week.

Vacation Resorts International (VRI) has purchased Owners Resorts and Exchange (ORE). VRI is the largest full service timeshare management company in the U.S. The VRI corporate office is located in Southern California with four regional offices. The office in Salt Lake City will remain intact and operational with the existing team members under the direction of VRI.

One of the most exciting opportunities this brings is to integrate the ORE internal exchange program into VRI and adding many of the VRI locations into the exchange program in 2008. The ORE internal exchange has been renamed “VRI*ety” but the services they provide will remain in tact and unchanged as will the way you use your timeshare in the internal exchange, RCI and II.

C.A.R.E. (Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers) is a non-profit trade association that was established in 1985 by representatives from timeshare resorts who found that by exchanging vacation inventory among themselves, they were better able to satisfy their owners with increased vacation opportunities. Today, C.A.R.E. member companies offer over 2500 vacation properties and service approximately one million vacation owners and members. C.A.R.E. is an international organization, with members in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia.
